The San Diego Air & Space Museum's Sixth Annual Space DaySan Diego, CA - April 8, 2009 - The San Diego Air & Space Museum's Space Day celebration is set to launch on Saturday, May 9th, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Come and engage in fun hands-on demonstrations, giveaways, and activities with local and national space experts. Space Day is FREE with admission to the Museum. Invited presenters include NASA, SDAA (San Diego Astronomy Association), DSN (Deep Space Network), JPL, The Mars Society, SETI, UCSD EarthKAM, SDSS (San Diego Space Society) and the Planetary Society. As an extra bonus, the San Diego Air & Space Museum will be offering a FREE screening of the new space documentary Orphans of Apollo, followed by a Q+A session with the director, Michael Potter.
