Main Floor

The largest of events can be accommodate in the Main Floor of our museum, it offers space for a stand up reception for up to 1,500 guests. The space totals 51,631 square feet.

Pavilion Of Flight

Large events, choose the award winning Edwin D. McKellar Jr. Pavilion of Flight. The pavilion is the largest covered space in Balboa Park and will accommodate up to 1,500 people for a reception or 700 people for a sit-down dinner. The space totals 23,000 square feet.

Rotunda*

For smaller groups the Rotunda offers an intimate and historic dining experience featuring Lindbergh's Spirit of St. Louis. The rotunda's 5,000 square feet will accommodate up to 120 people for a reception or 50 people for a sit down dinner. *Space is only available to book individually Sunday thru Thursday

Education Center*

For lectures or conferences, the Education Center is a popular choice. It features state-of-the-art audio-visual systems and can be used as a 50 seat classroom or 110 seat theater.

Museum Exhibit Area

Food stations for cocktails and hors d'oeuvres may be set up in selected exhibit areas of the museum.
