**Guided Tours of the Restoration Area are only available on Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays. Excessive noise may be experienced on the tour.

Regular Hours of Operation

The Museum is open seven days a week Monday through Sunday. Please see below for the hours.

Normal Hours
10:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
With admission until 4:00 p.m.

Summer Hours - (Memorial Day through Labor Day):
10:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
With admission until 5:00 p.m.

Closed:Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day

Free Tuesday

The Da Vinci Experience is a "Special Exhibition" and is an additional charge on Free Tuesdays.

The San Diego Air & Space Museum is free the 4th Tuesday of every month to San Diego County Residents, San Diego County College Students, Active Duty Military and their dependents. You must show a valid ID to receive free admission.

Guided Tours

Docent-guided tours give visitors insight into the people, aircraft and spacecraft of the fascinating story of flight. Our docents are highly dedicated volunteers with an extensive knowledge of aerospace history and technology.

  • Docent-guided tours can be scheduled in advance for groups of ten or more.
  • Docent-guided tours are available for school groups for grades 3 and up. See Teacher Resources for more information
  • Any group that arrives without a reservation must pay the regular admission price and is not guaranteed a guided tour.

Photography

For special exhibitions, no video or photography will be permitted.

Non-commercial photography and video recording are permitted in the rest of the Museum. Commercial photography is not allowed without the written consent of the San Diego Air & Space Museum.
